We ship every order from our base in Miranda, NSW. We're a proudly Australian, family run brand, and that means your sun safe goodies are packed with care right here in the Sutherland Shire before heading out to you.

Yes, we ship right across Australia.

Do you ship internationally?
We do. Ombra & Sole ships internationally too, so families outside Australia can enjoy the same sun safe style and protection.

How long does it take for my order to be processed?
We aim to get your order out the door fast. All orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays. As a small family run business, we're proud of how quickly we can turn your order around.

How will I know when my order has shipped?
As soon as your order is on its way, you'll receive an email with your tracking number, so you can follow its journey right to your door.

Can I pick up my order locally instead of having it shipped?
If you're local to the Sutherland Shire, absolutely. Simply select local pickup at checkout and we'll let you know as soon as your order is ready to collect from our Miranda base, 2228.

Yes, if you're in the Sutherland Shire, NSW, we offer free local delivery as well as pickup. Just choose the option that suits you best at checkout.

Are polarised sunglasses safe for kids?
Yes! Our UV400 polarised sunglasses block 99% of UVA and UVB rays, making them safe, stylish, and protective for little eyes.

What age are your sunglasses for?
Our sunnies are made for babies aged 6 months to 10 years, covering early years through primary school.

Are UV and polarised the same?
No. UV protection blocks harmful rays (ours are UV400, category 3), while polarisation reduces glare. Both are important for full sun safety.

Should children wear hats outside?
Yes! A UPF50+ hat protects against 98% of UVA and UVB rays, essential for delicate skin in Australian sun.

How do I measure my child’s head?
Wrap a soft tape around the head, just above the ears — snug but not tight. Match the cm to our size chart.

Can I return or exchange my order?
Yes — we offer a 30-day Perfect Fit Guarantee. If your hat doesn’t fit or the sizing isn’t right, email us at hello@ombraandsole.com.au within 30 days. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags.

Are refunds available?
Refunds are available on full-priced items only. We can’t refund for change of mind, but we’ll happily help you find the right fit.
